Bounce is offering a new workshop for Anti-bullying week 2010 - Don't Walk Away .
The workshop is available for foundation through to keystage four, with the principals adapted to suit the age and the objectives of each school. Using a range of techniques from frozen images through to a rainbow role play, participants are able to identify and address obstacles that can prevent people tackling bullying. During the workshop they are able to explore ways to approach bullying from different people's perspectives. The workshop will culminate in the group being able to remodel their initial work into solutions to tackle bullying in a safe environment.
The workshop is offered in a range of flexible formats to suit schools objectives and budgets. It can be kickstarted with an assembly performance to provide a scenario that will ensure a whole school approach to tackling an issue around bullying. Alternatively, it can be designed to tackle bespoke issues to each class. Schools can identify their objectives during the process of booking their workshops.
In addition to this, the Company also offer a set of workshops for parents and teachers. These workshops use similar techniques to allow adults to explore how they tackle situations around bullying through role play and group discussion.
