Bounce Theatre is delighted to launch it's new season "Bounce-the possibilities". A multi-arts programme of work that explores the possibilities of language and communication.
Working with schools and groups across South West London, the next six months will see the company take a group of teenagers to Sweden to explore how to make a performance when you don't speak the same language, mount two productions, create virtual storybooks, celebrate families with a Creative Homes project and launch the Hello project, with partners in South America and Thailand.
The company have recently appointed Laura Gray as their new Creative Learning Director. Laura is a qualified primary teacher, recently returning from Thailand after spending three years establishing an English department in a Thai orphanage. Laura says "I am delighted to be part of Bounce Theatre and launch straight into such an exciting array of projects. I am particularly excited about developing the projects we can offer primary schools - offering them the opportunity to link up to projects around the world to providing creative support for schools to develop their approaches to children with EAL, the season really does celebrate the possibility of language."
