Bounce into Beavers

We are delighted to take an artistic residency at Beavers Community Primary School!
Bounce has been awarded a grant from the Be Creative, Be Well programme run by the Arts Council, as part of the Well London initiative .
As part of the project, we will be taking a residency in the school to run a Tea+Art project for the over 60s, establish StreetCombo Theatre Company with 10-12 year olds and a Sing Yer Heart Out project open to the whole community.
The project will use stories as a means to celebrate the whole community. So we are especially delighted that the project will also support the development of a Creative Library within the school. This will become an opportunity for the whole community to celebrate the joy of reading through books, the Internet, puppets, image - magazines. It will culminate in a community story well, led by members of the Tea+Art project.
Project director, Louise Pendry says "We are so delighted to be running this project. It's been lovely to be welcomed in to the school and wider community. We can't wait to get started!
The project was great for the children's confidence.
