Christmas Production for Primary Schools with free book!

01 Nov 2010

Bounce is delighted to promote Something Something Christmassy as it's Christmas show this year.

An original play, adapted from the book by Rupert Stratton, Something Something Christmassy is set on Christmas Eve. Maisie has lost her something, something , the special feeling in her tummy that lets her know it's Christmas. In a quest to find it in time for daddy to get home, she sets off on an adventure around the tree, meets a fairy and munch through mince pies. The play celebrates the true meaning of festival celebrations - togetherness, with an abundance of audience interaction, music and puppetry thrown in for good measure.

The company are touring the play this December. In addition, schools will receive an IDEAs pack to implement their own something, something ideas, along with a copy of the original book and play script for literacy comparisons.

Bounce Theatre did morning workshops with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in Spring Term in conjunction with our Creativity week. They successfully incorporated our themes of animals, colours, rain forests and space. The children were inspired and the morning was thoroughly successful.
