Christmas workshops for Primary School

29 Oct 2011

Bounce is delighted to announce a special Something Something Christmassy offer for Primary schools.

During December, schools can book a special workshop whereby an original Christmas story will be bought to life for a class, with copies of the book for all the children to take home! Something Something Christmassy is an original story by Rupert Stratton. It's Christmas Eve and Maisie is waiting at home in a snow storm. Everything is perfect but something is wrong. She has lost her Christmas spirit. Delight as she dives into the Christmas tree, eats mincepies, chats to the a fairy, wraps herself in bows and covers herself in cinnamon to rescue her something something Christmassy.

The workshop uses story telling, puppetry and audience interaction to bring the words to life. It is accompanied by a resource pack with practical ideas to use the book as a platform for festive celebrations. Artistic Director Louise Pendry says 'It's a great great story for encouraging children to talk about the value of Christmas, or festive celebrations in general as it ultimately celebrates family and friends. Children will be able to talk about what is important to them at this time of year."

Free books are available for all workshops booked by the 30th November. For more information, please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
