Free INSET for teachers

Bounce Theatre is delighted to announce they are now offering an INSET at the end of every workshop booked.
The Company is committed to finding new ways to ensure there is a legacy attached to all of their work. Artistic Director Louise Pendry explains "Going into a school to deliver a workshop is a great pleasure for us. However, we are also aware that time and budget can prevent all classes from being able to participate in workshops. In addition, whilst we leave an IDEAs pack for teachers, drama is something which is often better experienced. The INSET is therefore a great opportunity to address both of the aforementioned, as all the staff can benefit and thus reach all the children. If we can't arrange the INSET on the same day as the workshop, there will be a series of area INSETs which teachers will be invited to attend."
The INSET will be accompanied with an IDEAs pack and email address for teachers to keep in touch with the Company if they want advice/clarification on any of the activities.

Bounce Theatre did morning workshops with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in Spring Term in conjunction with our Creativity week. They successfully incorporated our themes of animals, colours, rain forests and space. The children were inspired and the morning was thoroughly successful.
