Free resources for history teaching

Bounce is currently delivering Poppy Stories , an oral history project in Kingston upon Thames.
The project is led by a group of young people, who are collecting oral histories from older residents. They are transforming these into a series of pop up history events over May-July. Their aim is to celebrate that history is all around us. The histories all look specifically at memories of ordinary life during World War Two.
Bounce is currently building a web gallery of the project and a PDF of the activities we undertook, in order to share the ideas with teachers who may want to implement the ideas into their own teaching.
