Bounce is set to release a new series of G.C.S.E Drama workshops for 2011.
Workshops are an opportunity for students to work with a theatre practitioner and gain explorative strategies+practical ideas to enrich their attainment in G.C.S.E drama. Workshops are accompanied with an IDEAs pack for students to follow up on the work after the workshops. Workshops include:
CREATING A ROLE
Students will undertake a series of activities that will help them shape their character physically, emotionally and verbally.
DEVISING DRAMA
An opportunity for students to explore the devising process – taking into consideration theme, form and audience.
RESPONDING TO DRAMA
Students work with actors and a director to break down the process of responding to text and performance. Students will have an opportunity to direct the actors and each other to understand how interpret performance.
STAGING A SCRIPT
Here we look at the process from page to stage – including how to incorporate staging, use of stage directions and ways to create meaning and purpose for a scene.
