StreetCombo Youth Theatre will be presenting Journey to X for three nights only in Hounslow this March
In Journey to X A group of friends must raise the money to get to London to audition for the world's biggest talent contest. Not everything is as glamorous as it seems in this journey through the risks that teenagers take when plunged into an adult world.
The play has been written by Nancy Harris, as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival. Connections provides opportunities for young companies to perform new work on home turf and in regional theatres. StreetCombo will also be performing at the Rose Theatre in Kingston in April 2012.
Louise Pendry, Director of Journey to X says "We're so excited to be working on this play. Everyone who is working on it has fallen in love with the characters and the language. It's a real pleasure to work with our young actors on something so contemporary and relevant to them. The play is a must see!"
