Bounce is delighted to announce that a member of its young company, StreetCombo, has been signed to Culver Management
Lola Luke, 17, has been working with StreetCombo for the past 18 months. She recently played Beasts Man in the groups production of Laurence Boswell's Beauty and the Beast.
The performances were watched by Sakina Ballard, director of boutique actors agency, Culver Management. She spotted Lola's potential and talent, so invited her to an audition in London. She was later signed to the agency. Lola says of the experience "Working with Sakina is the biggest thing that has ever happened to me. Having the chance to do something that I've only dreamt of makes me thankful to her. I am literally speechless and can't wait for what's to come."
Artistic Director of Bounce Louise Pendry says 'Lola is an immensely talented young actor. She has a brilliant physicality, with a natural ear for dialogue, she looks like she is at home on the stage."
Sakina Ballard of Culver Management adds "It's a pleasure to welcome Lola to the agency. She is a gifted performer, who has a natural ability to bring dialogue to life. We're excited to watch her grow as a performer. I shall be keeping an eye on other members of the young company too!
Bounce Theatre did morning workshops with Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in Spring Term in conjunction with our Creativity week. They successfully incorporated our themes of animals, colours, rain forests and space. The children were inspired and the morning was thoroughly successful.
