New Writing: The TeenAGE Monolgoues

Bounce is delighted to launch a new project - The TeenAGE Monologues.
Inspired by a Facebook group set up by a former student, Artistic Director Louise Pendry is currently working with a group of young people to create The TeenAGE Monologues. The piece will explore the effects of age discrimination on young people in today's society.
Louise says "We are currently in the development phase of the project, collecting young people's stories. The breadth of knowledge, wisdom and experience held by young people is astounding. They're passionate, political, argumentative and funny. I think that it is the rest of society that will miss out, if we don't stop and break down the assumption all teenagers are bad.
