StreetCombo Youth Theatre, run by Bounce Theatre have this week created their own revolution!
Over the past year the group have performed reminiscences of older members off their estate to the wider community, performed at the Linford Christie Stadium, run a traditional carol event, performed at the Paul Robeson and recently featured at a Well London event in Greenwich. They are about to embark on a second show to be performed at the Tara Arts Studio in Earlsfield, giving them a taste of the London Fringe Theatre scene.
Every week, nearly 30 young people from the ages of 9-16 pack out the Ermine Centre. Aside from being involved on stage, they have formed an executive committee and a creative board to get involved in fundraising. This week, inspired by The Co-Operative Campaign, the group dreamt up a revolution last week through creative discussion and improvisation to become a socially motivated youth theatre.
As they realise the value in the investment made in them, they have decided to invest their future profits in other young people locally, nationally and globally - supporting campaigns in particular such as The Helping Hands Project.

You were great and I really enjoyed the show. It looked great, just the variety of women all looking fabulous was very empowering, even before the first word was said. The Director picked the right voices for each of the monologues - you have to admit your monologue suited your vowels and demeanour.
