Bounce will launch a new season Created by, a programme of work that celebrates devised and original performance.
Included in the season is the companies own touring show The Finest Hour, a touring show to schools that entwines poetry, verbatim voices and three people who wait out an air raid together in London. The performance opens with a pop up shelter landing in the space – students are invited to peak through and witness life in the shelter – the shelter opens and the stories unfold. Following this is an original version of Beauty and the Beast . Combining storytelling, with physical theatre and everyday objects the classic fairytale comes to life in an original and unique way.
Additionally, the company are launching a new set of workshops and projects, including a collaboration with global arts organisation – Creative Corners. Stories from South Americas see UK schools link with art projects in a global arts exhchange.
