Workshop for Roald Dahl Day 2010

Bounce add two special workshops to their list to celebrate Roald Dahl day 2010!
In the first, children enter into The Roald Dahl Factory where the stories are created. Children will create characters and then find out what happens if The BFG meets The Enormous Crocodile and more! In the second Those who don't believe in magic will never find it children will explore Dahl through his language and quotes in order to understand what makes him so fantastic.
Director Louise Pendry adds " Both workshops offer the opportunity for children to not only celebrate Roald Dahl, but also practically analyse what makes him such a figure in children's literature. As a child Roald Dahl was probably my favourite author and many years later I can still picture The BFG introducing Sophie to the snozzcumber , so it was a pleasure to put these workshops together!"
The workshops are accompanied with practical Resources Packs for teachers to utilise the activities back in the classroom.
