A small reflection on our projects so far from Rachel, one of our core artistic team.

We have had a busy start to the summer term at Creative Club. Not only are we putting on an all singing (and some serious dancing) production of Beavers Got Talent, we are also working towards our Discover Arts Award which we hope to complete by the summer holidays.

We have had lots of visits from old friends (& some new) and are filling our Saturday mornings with art, drama, dance, a bit of roller skating and of course lots of cheesy jokes:) Next week, Niamh the amazing drama dream will be visiting us, not only can she help with our skills, but EVERYONE knows Niamh's games are the best!!!  can't wait:)

Since teaming up with Get Local and Berkley Primary Bounce's production of Ali In Wonderland has gone from strength to strength. As you can imagine coordinating a room full of 7year old ducks, cards, mad hatters, March hares, a queen & King , 2 Ali's, a few mice and an eagle has been as bonkers as it sounds but fantastic fun!...not too mention the Cheshire Cat!

We are around halfway through the rehearsal process and the children are coming along in leaps and bounds. Keep you eyes peeled for further updates!

Our WW1 Women book project is coming into its half way through and taking shape into something no quite marvellous. Military wives and local children have created a time travelling wonder-kid, whose visits to local women in WW1 are both educational and super fun. We've still a way to go before printing but I couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved so far.
