Going for a walk isn't simple for everyone. Some young people stop walking because of how they have been feeling. Their house becomes the space they walk around. Mind Mapping reclaims what a walk can mean when leaving isn't easy.
Students will use poetry, visual art and storytelling to create their own authentic mind map, inspired by the poem "You Can Be Whatever You Want To Be" by Donna Levine and chosen by Anstee Bridge staff.

After-school club at Heathmere School.
Each week, children use drama games, improvisation and performance to build original stories for winter. Everyone chooses how to tell theirs. No two stories, and no two ways of telling them, need to look the same.
The term ends with a celebration of storytelling, curated by the children.
Both projects are open to young people already part of these settings, rather than public sign-up.
