Our Work With Schools

Schools

Helping children explore their world through creativity.

The Bounce Project is a creative learning project for primary schools. It uses storytelling, art, drama, play, and imagination to help children explore big questions, build confidence, and express how they see the world.

Each project is shaped with the school - based on what you want your pupils to learn, explore, or understand. Together, we create a learning journey where children use creativity to make sense of their emotions, ideas, and experiences.

Rooted in play, curiosity, and collaboration, the Bounce Project helps children develop key skills like communication, emotional regulation, and critical thinking - all while having fun and working as a team.
We support pupils to ask bold questions, take creative risks, and feel proud of their original ideas.

Alternative Education Settings

Bounce is a resident company at Anstee Bridge, a programme for young people who are struggling with their social, emotional and mental health. We work with Anstee Bridge staff to design creative projects that align with the programme's ethos which follows Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

Young people take part in creative sessions shaped around their interests, ideas, and lived experiences. Through storytelling, visual art, drama, movement, and more, they explore identity, build confidence, and develop tools to support emotional wellbeing and communication.

Our approach combines creativity and care, offering young people space to reflect, express themselves, and feel heard, without judgement or pressure. Sessions are playful, inclusive, and trauma-informed. Whether a young person wants to draw, talk, perform - everyone takes a role that reflects their authentic contribution as our focus is on building trust, resilience, and a sense of possibility.

Speech Bubbles

Helping young children build confidence and communication through drama.
Speech Bubbles is for children aged 5 to 7 who need support with communication. In small weekly groups, they explore storytelling, imaginative play, and character work with a trained drama facilitator and a member of school staff.
These sessions create a safe and playful space where children can express themselves, grow in confidence, and begin to shape their own stories.
